Our History
Generational Hill Family
An entrepreneurial spirit started by local legend Doug “The Boss” Hill first found its roots within the family in the 1950’s and has carried on through to today. From fishing lodges to home construction, the Hill family has been busy carving their path in the community, and Craft Beer became their next evolving step and challenge.
With more than 2 years of planning, construction finally began in September of 2016 headed by family members Matt Hill and Dan Farrington.
7 months of high’s, low’s, head scratching, aha! moments, and a few too many concrete cuts later – the brewery has become a reality with Dan now at the helm as the Sales and Ops Manager, and Matt taking on a Brewery Manager role.
Of course hospitality, business and construction backgrounds were not enough to ensure success. Something was missing.
